Hi there

Just got hold of one of their "HDPE" helmets and I noticed a dent in the plastic at the front bottom right where the plastic is quite thin. I was wondering if that's supposed to be there but I suspect not - I've tried pushing it back into place but it just springs back.

Is this something I can easily fix or should I be talking to RS about it?

That surely is not supposed to be there.

There's a dent there on my ABS kit. And it's there on pictures of the original SiMan helmet, so I would think it's safe to say it's supposed to be there.

Just tracked down a photo that shows it on the original. Difficult to tell whether it would have been there originally or damage later on down the line. Anyway, such a relief knowing its supposed to be like that!

Well, it's a feature to that particular original helmet.

I got home and looking at my own RS seems it is there but not that big.

Guys, Just leave it the way it is. That bump is on the original SIMAN helmet, probably happened at a certain point on set while shutting or after that but definitely is there.

Thanks - yeah - that's the pic I saw. Perfectly relaxed about it now - just wanted to check.

Mine has it too, same size at yours. First I was looking on the other side and there was just a small bump. Too tired from work...
