Hope it wasnt. The auction was removed. Has anybody here contacted ebay because of this? Damn....it really seems you cant trust anyone :banger . If i remember there are less than ten different owners at the moment....so if it was a TM Jedi......

The auction is still there.

The guy was dumb enough to include the helmet photos with other of his photos. So he can now be easily identified.

Well if only 10 were sold you must have list of the buyers? That would narrow it down.
I did see a recast of the TM ROTJ over a year ago so this isn't the first.

Jesper confirmed that it is on of his helmets. Will have to look who are the buyers. The one i know for sure are:

-starwarscollector
-darthvaderv
-germanbat
-skynet
-myself
-darth clouds
-lenasith
-xmr1
and one went to france. Another one (the first one) was sent to Downinflames who said he never received it. The helmet was sent to South America (Chila i think) but before he went back to Chile he lived in France. I think thats all of the owners if i remember correctly. This helmet is also from france......mmmh. All this is very fishy :angry4 As i said ....you cant trust anyone....no honor within this hobby. I completely understand which keep all the good stuff for themself. Any feedback from other owners are welcome.

My 2 cents:

Buying silicone (which isn't cheap), slap it on a one-in-a-lifetime-opportunity Vader helmet and recast it just to make some bucks???

What they do:

- piss people off who contribute
- lead unaware fans into buying recasted crap
- betray the trust of us all

This lowlife bacillus is the reason things are never offered again in the community. The TM ROTJ is the Vader helmet I am most proud of. I had a Rubies Supreme, a SPFX ESB, an Elstree (which is a 20th century recast), a GH ROTJ and a DS 20th Century, the resin recasted GH ROTJ crap from Howard S. not counted. ALL of them (excluding the resin GH ROTJ) were nice but the TM just sits on a higher level for me (including the TM ESB).

I hope this one in the suspicious auction doesn't get sold but instead shoved in his (whoever he is) ass.

I will be!

I think your answer is in France as that seems to be where it went missing.

Noticed. These should be all actual owners.

Man, that sucks! It's like the Darth Phaeton situation.

I'd like to try and get it if I can, but I think it will go well beyond what I can afford at the moment (Christmas bills, gotta love 'em :disg )

I'd hate to see it get into the hands of a recaster.

Cheers,

Kraig

DIF tried the old "it never arrived" with me also. I have lost a ton of stuff to overseas shipping in the last 3 years so not to say it doesnt happen but I also felt it was suspicious at the time. Others I have spoken to however say hes a straight shooter.
