ROTJ has a wider and more tapered center ridge than ESB. The widow's peak on ESB is indented more and cut short. On ROTJ it is cut back even a bit more and as you mentioned the center ridge goes right to the end of what's left of the "peak". It is overall a smoother, cleaner helmet as well.
