Review:These books were re-issued in 1994 and many fans have grown up with the original issues. The layout and efforts involved were truly unique when they first came on the scene and they were often met with rave reviews. Making the comparision today I don't think they are quite at the level of the Art of Revenge of the Sith but to put it into perspective, design and glossy artforms mainly catering to presentation have changed somewhat. As a stand alone series of books these are a must have, not just in the older market but even in today's standards they are still immensely resourceful and full of aspects that you see very little of elsewhere other than snippets. A fantastically put together form of books. The Empire version does not include a script which may disappoint some.
Verdict:You never get tired at looking into the art of these iconic movies that shaped much of the industry. The re-issued prints hold up in today's standards next to the older worn copies.
