Coming soon...

CFO Cast From Original Stormtrooper Armour from the Cameron Oakley molds.

Joe (JoeR) and I have acquired the Cameron Oakley stormtrooper molds. These are the molds that pre-date the GINO and the TE armour, taken from an original ROTJ Stormtrooper armour that was saved from a dumpster or wheely bin as we would say here in the UK!

No wild claims about accuracy and being the best out there as there are some very good vendors selling quality products. What we can say is that these have rock solid lineage back to an original set of armour.

we have some fun times ahead. New armour from a new maker using Cameron Oakleys moulds. For a change we can have armour from moulds with direct lineage to a screen used original without the confusion of what has been done to them, or who has altered what. We haven't lent them to anyone else to mould so these will be exactly as they came to us without all the usual BS.
I am currently casting duplicate bucks ready for forming, Only very minor clean up is involved. We are not altering the shape at all. The CfO armour will have all the warps, warts and all...... :cheers
WE are approaching Vac forming companies to form these on industrial sized machines by pros that specialize in armor etc. for the film industry. Before we officially launch we want to get some stock in so as not to keep everyone waiting. You order, we say yes, you pay and we send it straight out to you. No waitng, No paying 1 - 2 years in advance and service with a smile. :thumbsup :)

Here's our logo idea, what do you think? I personally like the black darker logo. We will have a few more logo ideas to share and get opinions on later.

More to come including some 'new to the market' helmets also cast from originals....

Thanks Chaps!

Jez,
You are right. NO BS with these moulds, No wild claims and these aren't the ONLY moulds to have touched an original suit of armour! :lol

Great Provenance and direct lineage. That's all you need to know. :thumbsup

Would that not highlight attention? From experience anything to do with SW gets people talking real loud.
On a side note, interesting project and the best of luck.

Not as far as I have noticed. One company I approached won't do it but that's only because SDS is using them to form his TK armour and has asked the company not to form any other TK armour or he will pull his business from them. Remember we are in the UK and I think people are a little easier going and less paranoid about GL than companies in the states.
I think SDS has paved the way for anyone in Europe to produce TK armor?

Most interesting, but is worth nothing without pictures.

Regarding the logo... if you are able to trace the contours of the trooper better - kinda like a comic drawing - then I agree that the darker version is the best.

I think "it is worth nothing" is a little harsh Carsten! It's a little hard to show pics of armour that hasn't been formed yet. We all know what ROTJ armour looks like and if you have seen a TE set then you will know. There maybe a few subtle differences but these moulds are from the same suit.

We just hope to offer an accurate to screen suit of armour and a few helmets that have not been offered before with a good customer service.

Well to be honest he did offer. But I think he thought he would have some control over us and put his name to it. We decided against it. We also want a clean image and AA doesn't have that. He has only recently out sourced his forming as far as I know.
This is solely Joe's and myselfs venture, no one elses. :thumbsup

We've thought about it but too be honest I can't be bothered with a bashing from you know who and his cronies. He'll only slag the moulds off to better his own. We know what we have. We are just keeping it to the Fisd and den for now. No doubt when we launch it will be bought up there anyhoo.
