Jay forwarded this interesting photo to me.

This was a one-off. I believe it's a recast but done in silicone, and it has a much better paint scheme. It just shows the potential of this as a modification base!

Cool to see how a paint job can really bring something to life or kill the likeness.

It does look like the wounds were detailed out. The original looks like a panda bear. The one on the right is a bit too pink in skintone but would have been perfect. I love the head scar. Looks like his brains are spilling out.

The Jorg head has great scar detail, and while the facial width is right for the actor, the "with hair" version (his Anakin Skywalker bust) looks much better. Here, he reminds me of a smiling Teal'C from Stargate SG-1.

The Illusive Concept's paint job may be a bit lackluster, but the eyes really capture fear. The eye also looks like he's about to break into tears. I like that emotion.

The fleshtone one looks more lifelike, and the eyebrows are great. The eyes look more human but the emotion isn't quite there like it is with the Illusive.

IMO the take 2 version looks far more like Shaw, such a difference that paint makes. It is lacking in terms of the right colour for skin tone but a great job.

The original IMO is not very desireable at all. Jorg's head is a fine addition although personally the expression is not my favourite but still a nice job.

Everybody knows that his eyebrows got burnt off!!! :lol

Fix the color and make the scars more true to the original and it'd be dead-on.

For all that technology they had in those days, why couldn't they have just put him into a bacta tank and repaired his body -- or created a genetic duplicate limbs and graft them to his own body?

Wow, that looks fantastic. Are these busts still available? Would be interessting to upgrade the paint job and the eyes from the original.

Hi all,

I have the original Illusive Concepts bust and i am looking at selling it.

Its complete with bust, cape, helmet and certificate.

I need the room.

Shipping will be expensive so a UK guy would be better.

PM if interested or let me know if you want pics.

Graham

So your setup looks like this?

Image

Do you have any large photos of the helmet you can share - with and without the dome?
Also, if you can take them from 6 feet away, that would be great!

If you can wait until the weekend I will post as I am away with work in the week.

Look Sat/Sun if possible.
