Between 1994 and say 1997 I attended two events at Elstree where Jason Joiner (on both occasions) had an ANH Vader helmet sitting on a table.

Did anyone from here attend? And did anyone get pics? Or do they know anything else about it.

For the record, I know he had an ESB suit as well - so I promise I am not mistaking it for that.

I have never seen JJ's ANH helmet, but I have a vague idea where he got it from. It's not Kurtz.

During a convention in the Netherlands some years ago he let me inspect the helmet of one of his ESB suits. It was then when he told me that he has two complete screen-used ESB Vader suits and an original screen-used R2 unit. The one he diplayed at the convention except of the helmet and chest armour looked like crap.

I am not sure what Mr Joiner has but I had thought he had real ROTJ Vader pieces.

I had also heard he has an original cast of the ANH faceplate used for the pre production of ESB.

HAL9000 the Vader you saw did it have the teeth, chin vent and eyes cut out.

He has also claimed at some points he has 6 ANH/ESB stormtroopers.

I do know people who have had dealings with Mr Joiner in the distant past I will ask them if they know anything.

HAL 9000 this might seem like a silly question but was JJs ANH faceplate painted? If so was it a funny colour by any chance possibly discolourd with a brown tinge to it?

the ANH helmet he had was 'finished' in as much as it had lenses, teeth, dull brownish/black paint job.

I cant speak for any helmets, but I can say Mr Joiner did have several authentic ESB items.

I have studied those pieces in EXTREME detail, obsessing over ridiculous details and Im convinced several pieces are real....theyve been altered over the years but they are real.

....but like I said, sadly they have been altered.
