Hi guys,

This project has been going on FOREVER, but funnily enough, its what keeps me sane after a long day of running my business, meeting deadlines and dealing with clients.

The project started off with me wanting to fix the imperfections I saw with my Rubies Supreme, but after I completely ruined the mask and tossed it in the bin, decided to start from scratch and try making a Reveal using a combination of styrene, ABS, auto filler and sanding.

The mask still needs work but the base is there, and to avoid frustration I've taken breaks and worked on smaller details.

All the parts are hand made from styrene, and either used as is or then cast in resin.

I've mention before, this reveal is sort of a combination of OT and PT, sort of the best of both worlds.

Hope you guys like the "SLOW" progress so far!!!

Nick

Very nice! :thumbsup

The details look fantastic! Much better than the stuff I got a year ago. Any chance you'll be selling some?

One of these days I am going to have to build myself a reveal mask. I have been in love with it since I saw ROTJ as a kid and I STILL want one.

When I was a kid, my mother had one of the Don Post Deluxe Masks, but a cousin of mine borrowed it and cracked it so (If I recall) mom tossed it out.
DOH
If I had known then what I have learned now.....

Great work so far BTW and I cant wait to see this baby finished :toothy

Wow, that's starting to look frightening. I've seen various Reveal masks before, but this one has that psychological effect where I feel I'd dread having that thing go over my face!

A tiny bit more progress, albeit redoing what I wasn't happy with. The V/U shaped section is very much from PT Vader.

Started to tackle the interior chin/nose and mouth area. Trying to get elements of the intricate ROTS interior while keeping it a bit simple ( ROTJ style ) is harder than I thought it would be. But I think im getting the "It LOOKS PAINFUL to have that on" look right.

What do you guys think.

Amazing. Awsome. Do you sell the parts, or are you interested in buidling the inside of the ROTS reveal into a Master Replicas Mask?

Together with help of some friends I bought my ROTJ reveal mask over 10 Years completely with the inside of the ROTJ. You can watch it here:http://www.starwars-union.de/index.php?id=fan_makinganakinreveal
