I was lucky to get a TE2 lid for xmas and have been waiting to get this sorted. While i was waiting for the weather to perk up i put together my AP lid esb style.

But for this i was going ANH stunt all the way.. While i am not 100% done with this i wanted to post some pics, you will all see what needs doing..

I had this built for me and the only thing i have done is trim the teeth a little and sand the eye sockets, oha nd put in the mic tips from Keith everything else is how it was when i arrived in its little box

I wanted to make this as close to how the helmet may have looked before filming started, you wont find any decals here..

That's looking cool... and the first TE2 I've seen that haven't filled up the damage to the front of the brow.

May I be allowed to use the first picture for the helmet list?

Of course you can. If you need any more pics just let me know. It was dark when those photos were done..

I think another area people often fill and smooth is just below the teeth. But i like to be different and just left all the mold damage so this is a warts and all helmet :toothy

Ah, okay... well, if you can take a frontal shot, like the first picture posted in better lighting conditions, so all the features are more visible on the helmet, then I would appreciate it.

Really is looking very good! :thumbsup

Looks great. The imperfections on the helmet give it a life all its own.

It would make a fine 'Mr. No-Stripes'. I'd leave it as is.

Yes i painted all the detail areas and you know i left this with no stripes for as long as i could but i had to put them on just to see what it looked like 'complete'. I may remove them again, who knows....
