Question for the Vader experts. What is the most accurate ESB Vader helmet?

I saw the Creamedgezzer's JB ESB Vader on the RPF and thought it really captured the ESB screen look.

What is out there that is ultra accurate?

Joe

Hands down most accurate would be the TM ESB helmet:

Readily available? I would agree with the JB, but the SPFX is a very close second, if not tied for 1st. Just depends which one the buyer thinks looks more accurate.

Yes the TM ESB is hands down the most accurate because the copies made available are based on what I believe is an original ESB helmet (the one TM owns). I've looked at the JB and SPFX helmets over the years and would have to say that JB has spent a lot more time researching the ESB helmets and his helmets reflect that, at least in terms of finishing. SPFX has spent more time modifying and perfecting his ANH helmet. I used to have one of his early ESB helmets and had a JB V2 master helmet and the JB was the better helmet. Both faceplates (I'm sure the makers will disagree with me) are derived from a later generation casting, the 20th Century ESB, so you can't really compare them to the TM ESB. The helmets (domes) are both from the GH ANH so they are closer to ANH in lineage but still being copies a few generations down. You could wait until a more accurate helmet like the TM ESB becomes available...you never know what's around the corner! But if I had to choose a trooping helmet, for example, it would be a JB.

I would agree that the TM ESB from what I’ve been able to see is the most accurate out there. As for ESB helmets that are available to most people I would have to say the SPFX is the most accurate followed closely by the JB.

Oh I almost forgot..

I'm not sure how readily available he will make the Helmets, but Jespers
TM ROTJ Mod will be the most accurate in terms of something you can
buy..
