Does anyone know how Efx are going with the Yoda Legend release?
It sounds exciting, however im worried it might get the "made in china" treatment with respect to 90% accurate is good enough. Perhaps Cybermans yoda will be a more authentic screen accurate peice after all the hype.
However (IMO) if they have cast the head from the original mould, and do it well,.... thats probably something you cant go past.... perhaps it might need a pro then to repaint it?

I think you're right about Cyberman version..
I believe that a licensed, mass produced item will never achieve this level of screen accuracy and appearance as fan made item made with heart..
and last but not least..eFX didn't show any prototype pics yet, just released few words..so it could be available in 20 years..

After seeing what eFX "Legend" really means , I really doubt a licensed Yoda (and other props/helmets) would compare to fan made items.

Should be a long time coming if ever. Not even their hero TK helmet has been released yet as far as I know. And was even announced only shortly after the Vader. Same thing with the scout helmet, I think?

Patience is indeed something you need when talking about eFX.
