Been seeing this pop up occasionally and just wondered if anyone had any info on the kit and the seller? I know it isn't completely accurate and we did have a discussion about it over at the BikerScout.net forum.

I have contacted him. He claims that these are his molds, but the helmet looks pretty close to a recast KS.

He sells soft parts as well, but there not really on par. Pretty sure that his armor is recast SC or KS as well. I would rate the costume around a 70%. For the price he is asking, one could get an MLC, or really, an assembled KS.

As you know most scout stuff is based on the Rubies or the Don Post. If you ever get a chance, the Altmans would be the closest to the screen helmet after you change the snout. There just hard to find these days.

I love the MLC, but it is really a perfected helmet.
