In the SDS vs LFL case AA claimed that the majority (so we're talking "Stunt" type) of the helmets he produced were made of white ABS...

So, if this is true where did all those ABS "Stunt" helmets end up? AFAIK all ANH (ESB) helmets known to us are made of HDPE.

I wouldn't take any of AA's claims seriously.

So, you're saying that there were no ABS stunt/background helmets produced by AA?

Hasn't it been proved that there were only 6 made, from the paper records/invoices?

Ainsworth (and his partner/wife Berndette) always insisted that not all of the Stunt helmets were HDPE. And though its fair to say that they have no motivation to lie on this subject, I think theyre just mistaking the ribbed necked helmets made after ANH (incorrectly termed the "prototypes") with the Stunts.

However its my view that they were just mistaken and that all of the 50 Stunt helmets were made of HDPE, then painted.

As Joe said, the invoices show 6 ABS "Better Quality" or "Close up " helmets.
