How about we call it the "BB" helmet for easy reference. If the owner ever decides to go public then the name can always be changed.

Unless the term "BB" refers to the initials, it's one more acronym the community has to remember. You call this "Recently found" on this thread, so people have probably been referring to it as the "Recently Found".

How about RF then?

Mac - No matter what you call it people are still going to have to remember what the acronym means :banger

I'm struggling to think how RF is easier to remember than BB, SL, TM or whatever the various casts out there are called.

TBH I'm relaxed about what you guys want to call it.

Hard to think of something more practical than the guys initials...EP for ESB poster? MP for movie poster helmet? Although admittedly the initials are not so interesting, when having to refer to many helmets in one breath, it can be helpful. Plus we have a reference section for Vader helmets on the Den and that section has acronyms. I've been calling it in my own mind the movie poster helmet but that's a bit generic. Since we have the TM and TD and JB, the BB would be logical if those are the owner's initials or pseudonym initials. Of course if someone wants to come up with a more formal name in addition to an initial I don't see why not.
