Got any more pictures of this without the dome attached? It may help with identifying the face mask. :)

Yes - I just took some pictures of the faceplate by itself. I created a new topic at http://thepropden.aokforums.com/origins-of-this-faceplate-vt4621.html

How does it - size wise - compare to the eFX TIE?

Very cool Bomber! As Leo asked, how does it compare to the eFX TIE?

It's a lot smaller but it's still studio scale.
The Tie's and X Wing's had a 1:24 scale.
But not all models were made in the same scale.
As for example the RotJ B Wing were something arround 1:16.

The Tie bomber is just something arround 1:36 and therefore about half the size of a SS Tie fighter.
About 220x220mm in size.
So it will fit perfect in my display cabinet, without i need another big stand and acrylic case.

In SW books they say the TIE bomber comes with cannons like a regular TIE. Do you know where they are on the SS version you have?

That's a fantastic Bomber you have there Turrican! :salut

Did you build that yourself? I want to build one some day but the cost of kits is putting me off!

Hey thanks.
Yep, i build it.

Here's my build thread, it's written in german, but just let the pic's speak. :lol
http://www.phoxim.de/forum/index.php?topic=10194.0

Well the kit i got was awesome , and it's imho the best ever made SS Tie Bomber kit.
Take a look here:
http://www.keeperoftheforce.com/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=321

It includes all parts from the original used model kit's.
Also the overall scale is perfect as well as the quality of the parts.
And the price was great as well.

Cool thanks, didn't realise there was someone selling cast parts, that would be a huge help! Cheers Turrican.
