Curious about the shipping costs. Long ago when EFX released the Legend Vader the shipping cost with greedy FedEx was $700. Add to that the customs and VAT (24%) and I could have almost bought a second Vader helmet, when BBTS had the LE version shipped for $200. EFX really cares about international customers... :rolleyes

EFX must have a farmer carry the package on his shoulders to your door once it lands in Bucharest...

....Sometimes I swear UPS has an Amish farmer deliver the package with a horse and buggy in Northern Wisconsin.

For $700 ($690) they should beam the darn thing directly into my room together with 2 babes ready to massage my feet :toothy

I'd take the "two babe-foot massage" over a farmer, fer sher. ...unless said farmer looked like Mary Ann from Gilligan's Island.

While I like the slightly rougher look of the Special Edition, the added C-Scar really detracts from its overall accuracy, and because of that, I prefer my Unspecial Edition. And the rationale to add sales tax to all SE helmets because they were "picked up in San Diego" seems rather specious to me.

If you pick-up in San Diego, then sales tax isn't suspicious. It's reality.

And technically speaking, anything you purchase online, you're supposed to claim and pay the sales tax - to which barely anyone ever does.

I meant even if you order online and live in a state that doesnt charge sales tax for orders from out-of-state businesses, eFx is still assessing CA tax + shipping. https://efxcollectibles.com/collections/star-wars/products/darth-vader-helmet-precision-cast-replica-special-edition
