for those of you who want to know when the rest of the legend helmets are being shipped.
they are all on their way to their destinations. i received my tracking numbers on the 6th.
i tracked them and fedex says my two will arrive by the 12th.. i cant wait!
this is going to look so bad ass on my ANH GH master set of armor.

My eFx showed up today, # 323. This will be the centerpiece of the ANH DV armor I am putting together. IMHO it was definitely worth the year wait.

well my two arrived today.
i received numbers 261 and 292. not sure why i didn't get the numbers in consecutive order with one another seems how i pre-ordered them at the same time. oh well the helmets are incredible non the less.
there is one thing i want to point out. which was somewhat of a disappointment. there is only the brown shipper box and no color photoed inner box to house the styrofoam. just the brown shipper box with the styrofoam housing. that's it. the helmets do not come in any cloth bags like the mater replicas ROTS helmet did. the helmets just sit in the styrofoam housing with no added protection whatsoever. the artwork print, booklet, cardboard efx poster (guess that's suppose to represent the color photoed box..lol), name plate and base components are all on top of the styrofoam with only a thin flimsy piece of cardboard separating all of those from the outer brown shipper box. 261 was pretty banged up. and the top piece of styrofoam was broken completely off where the large square part of the base was housed. just like in the photos that vader71 posted. i would have thought with such a valuable piece at such an expensive cost that it would have came in a second full colored photoed box. that would have prevented the damage to the styrofoam. and given it added protection. as well as the cloth bags for the face plate and dome. also. for those of you who are expecting one. make sure that when you unbox the helmet. make sure when taking out the base plate to check the silver nuts that hold the clear plastic sheet on the top of the base plate are screwed on tightly..mine were very loose. and one of them fell out..luckily i found it. also when connecting the rod onto the base..make sure that you put the rod in the hole and then line it up with the bolt then screw/tighten the bolt..dont screw the bolt in first and then try to screw the rod onto the bolt. it wont line up..at least that's how mine was anyway. thought i would give you all a heads up.
so anyway..here is my number 261.. what can i say..i love it. sorry for the raunchy photos..cheap digital camera. and poor lighting.. as soon as i have my bust display i will show some photos how it looks with my ANH GH Master set of armor.

I read this morning on eFx Facebook that many people were complaining about the packaging, and that some of the dome were damaged and need to be replaced

I remember this happened with the MR helmets as well, the styrofoam was so tight that the cloth bags rubbed the paint off the top of some of the domes. My midichlorians (*sigh*) must be high because both my helmets arrived undamaged. My condolences to anyone in the Den that received a damaged helmet. A year is too long to wait for damaged merchandise.

If the TIE Fighter will arrive with some damage I might go to eFX and strangle someone...

hahaha..i figured as much..but its is true..when i posted my photos of one of my helmets..i stated that one of my packages was banged up pretty good..and a piece of the styro was completely broken off.
i was one of those people who complained to them in an email.. even though none of my helmets were damaged. i wanted to bring it to their attention for next time they produce a Vader helmet.or any other for that matter, they will do a much better job packing the item. its a bit ridiculous and risky i might add to ship something such as this with such a high price tag the way they did. and specially using FedEx with their reputation. when they said they were going to use FedEx i was like. ,,becasue i knew all about them for i had some damaged goods delivered by them in the past...so when i saw my helmets and the damage to outside of the boxes i was keeping my fingers crossed..luckily like you they were ok..
