Yeah - sure there are some still around but with the shipping and customs they come in at £800-£900. IIRC when MR did their ROTS vader a lot of spare artist proofs turned up on eBay after they were all done for a much lower price. May not happen but thought I'd wait and see!

I think if EFX were to offer a helmet without the display base that the shipping cost would drop quite rapidly. As far as I can make out the base is what is making up most of the weight.That's a hell of an honour to receive that, well done and thanks for sharing your photographs !

Well would say that's the holy grail of all parts which EFX did till jet.
Hope we will see that very high performance on any other helmet in future ,too.

They've certainly set themselves a high standard to maintain. It just remains whether the rest of the Vader helmets made will live up to this . I hope so as I'd love to buy a Vader helmet that looks as good as this does.

Cool. I did something similar with the first prototype Gino showed and then the production demo and found there was no difference in the dome in terms of the shape of the front flarings. Looks the same as well for the Limited. Yet, for the helmet that Vader71 showed, the front flarings seem different but I haven't compared that yet.

This is the latest info on the eFX website:

May 6, 2012: We are just completing the Legend Edition and will be starting the production of the Limited Edition shortly. We anticipate shipping to start shipping the helmet from Asia the first few weeks of June. More updates as they become available.
