eFX ANH Vader?!?! WOW

That is the reason I had to pass on the Legend Vader and went with LE at an EU store (I have to see if I'll still keep the LE on order). From the shipping costs and taxes would allow me to buy another Vader Legend which is insane LOL. :eek

I'm just wondering why not have a product quality control person in China and have these shipped out directly from the factory to the buyer for those outside the US? It's illogical to ship them to the States only to basically ship them back across the pond for some buyers. Those going to US buyers could be sent to eFX for re-distribution. Unless all the accessories get added at eFX and not at the factory.

Indeed. The big shipping cost comes from the helmet itself. So if shipped all the extras (stand, COA, plaque) separately it would be much cheaper.

That shipping figure is just insane. I considered buying one as it is THE Vader item to own but at that price as has been said you could buy another helmet for the shipping cost. I'll just have to live through the pics from those lucky to have bought one of these.

LOOKOUT!!! Improper use of the eFX brand to sell a fan made Vader helmet. The same helmet that was previously claimed to be made by a special FX group and relisted on eBay several times without selling, likely linked with JB from what I've heard (last part is an unverified rumor!).

Funny the BS people will use on ebay to sell a helmet. Thats a joke.

And to answer the question , yes that is my helmet. Efx chose to have three of the helmets sent FedEx from China for review while the shipping crate was sent surface. Those three inspection pieces were then sent to three of the buyers, of whice I am one. I believe I was actually the first to receive it, I know one of the others has his as well but have not seen his show off and review yet. Rebelscum is the place that gets the efx support for items like this, FYI.

Being in the uk I live in hope that artist proofs of the legend start cropping up On eBay for small amounts of money! I can dream! Maybe a limited then.

I know that you are talking about the UK, but I thought that the limited was still available? On the efx website their links to all of the licensed merchants who are carrying them some show that you can still ad the helmet to the shopping cart.

Wow. I love that piece.

Curious though - is not the front face of Vader's eyebrow supposed to be black? It is in some ways a teensy detail but it is what allows the eyes to "float" because you don't as easily see the eyebrows like you do on ESB and ROTJ masks.

Wondering what the consensus was.
