So Mac did you TE finally arrive?

It must be around a year now. If it did I'd certainly like to see photo's.

Cheers

I think Mac got these shipped to a friend a couple of weeks ago.

I think people are still waiting on kits although Matt is now getting through the backlog.

I had an email from TE this week saying he had recently lost his job and that we was in a car wreck last week. No one was hurt but he is now whithout a car and finding it hard to get out to get parts needed or some thing like that..

Well, nothing really to see until assembly and painting, and that's being handled by a friend. I'll make a new post when the time comes.

Hey, thanks for asking.

Well thats actually good news - at least the helmets finally been delivered (even if it is to a friend).

You've gone for the Fiberglass one - right? In which case I suppose it'll be a similar job to getting a raw Vader ready.

Cheers

Jez

Both are the SFS.

Yes TE did quite a nice fiberglass all-in-one version. It was based on the digital scan that was done for Gentle Giant - I remember the actual owner of the scan posted a message on the RPF expressing his disgust that it had been used.

However, away from that it was interesting as it suceding in doing something MR failed in - namely to digitise a helmet and then prouce a fiberglass lid from it

Cheers

I thought the HDPE was produced from the original moulds which were taken from the 'first' ANH helmet, but the ears are moulded from the SFS helmet?
