Do it man! Get one! :lol

Thanks for the pics Jez!
Eck, I hope they tone down the orange spots. Other than that, I'm loving the way it looks. According to Bryan from MR, the two LEDs in the back inside the keyslots will not be on the final product, which is good since they weren't there on the ESB.

Just a question. Is this MR helmet good for an ROTJ SE Boba, too. I thought the ROTJ SE Boba has ROTJ armor and ESB helmet..right??

Yep, here it is...

There might be more that makes the SE Boba different, but I don't know.

Thanks mate. I love this picture. Makes this helmet more and more interessting for me. First i wanted a BM one, but if the paintjob is as well as the prototype, the MR might be the better solution. It is cheaper than the BM and it is a limitated collectors piece. Thanks again for info :thumbsup

This is looking to be a very nice helmet. Especially if they can come close to this prototype paint job. Although I have to agree with others with regard to the paint spattering which seems over done. Plus I don't ever recall seeing the orange paint spatter, I remember seeing black spattering but not orange, will have to look at some more ref. pics. Also look forward to seeing this compared to the MSH helmet.

To be fair the orange paint spattering is a LOT more pronounced on these pics due to the lighting (and my needing to compensate within Photoshop), plus me sharpening up the photos (unsharp mask) in order to get better definition.

My pics tomorrow will hopefully be a lot more representative of the actual helmet as I wont need to bugger around so much

Cheers

Jez

I noticed after looking at more pics of the MR Fett helmet that the bottom vertical part of the visor seems to taper in a bit compared to some ref. pics of the screen-used helmet. This also seems to make the bottom flare of the helmet look narrower than the screen-used helmet when looking from the front.

Anyone else notice this?

Yep, I'm guessing that's because the helmet they scanned was the Pre Pro 3 helmet.

(^^^ PP3 helmet ^^^)

They might have scanned the PP3 helmet thinking it was the ESB Hero since the paint schemes are very close. Though, I think the ESB Hero is also on tour at the moment (I think, not sure).

DF I think you're right. They scanned PP3 as it was the one they were given access to but have replicated the paint scheme of the Hero.

Ive new pics and a review to load up - wasnt able to get access to this place yesterday (down in the afternoon I think)

Cheers

Jez

Congratulations Darth Fetty!

I just got the word too, mine is pending shipment.

I know it took about 5 months but I was still expecting them to ship a little later. The credit card is going to be racked this month.

I'm excited. I have a spot waiting for it right next to his papa's helmet. :)
