So as mentioned in the Quasimodo "GH Face Transplant" thread, I decided to give the "Straw Hat" dome to Quasi.
That means Goldie gets its old dome back. However, it's not quite the same shape as before. There are a number of improvements now to the overall shape that give it a more authentic look. I've also scaled things back so that the dome/helmet now compliments the size of the mask. As you recall, Quasimodo has a much fuller and larger face for that movie look. Goldie is more like a 20th Century which is a bit more slender but still one of my favorites.
I won't bore you with the details...
The funny thing about having concurrent Vader projects is that some of these are starting to look quite similar. The differences are now subtle. The subtleties do still make quite a difference because they all have to do with the flow of surfaces in three dimensional space - but, ultimately, the question is whether or not they create a believable two dimensional silhouette.
There still needs to be some restoration to the inside teeth bars, but not nearly as much as Quasimodo. So we're now very much near final, and I promise I won't do any more dome swapping!
So to answer SixGun's question, yes' it's about 99% complete!
