I'm not trying to compete with Gino(or anyone else for that matter), but I will say that I prefer my own ESB Vader to his....and this is just a crappy cell phone pic I took a couple minutes ago, not a professionally done photo shoot to showcase it.

Mine has an accurately painted TM helmet and Elstree armor set which I feel is a huge advantage. I also had a professionally built mannequin done exactly to Prowse's measurements(thanks to an old thread here on the forum) that gives him the proportions most 1:1 displays lack. I'm sure there are things that could be improved on it and I know it's not 100% perfect, but for me it's the life-size Vader display I've always wanted....especially since I had that crappy old Rubies/Michael Burnett statue they sold at The Sharper Image in my collection for about 15 years. :lol

Anyway, like I said I'm not trying to get in a competition or have my display picked apart for things that might be wrong with it(as I know that tends to happen a little too often around here). Just thought I'd show it off since very few other displays ever get featured on this forum. Thanks for looking.

Agreed! All you are missing to complete the picture are the two Stormtroopers standing at his side.

Thanks for the compliments, guys. It took almost 2 years and a helluva lot more money than I had planned on spending, but I ended up with exactly what I was hoping for in the end.

Can't tell you how glad I am to hear that because that exact pic is the one I used for reference when putting together the display.

My only critical observation is the hands/gloves are hanging too low, an easy fix :thumbsup

That is insanely awesome.

Weird - ESB Vader with two ANH Troopers - and one stunt helmet has bubble lenses.

Or two Snowtroopers with Vader...(SO COOL)

Image

Or....Boba Fett standing next to Vader wouldn't look half back either. ;)

This could be the ultimate badass pairing. Damn! I love this photo. :drool

This is the angle that made me love the ESB Vader - love those highlighted eyebrows. Looks so badass in every way.

...I feel like I need a REALLY good Boba Fett Helmet now. LOL

Yup, that's the pic I tried to emulate. It was my favorite pic of Vader as a kid...thought he looked so awesome standing there flanked by 2 Stormtroopers.

Maybe it's because I have zero interest in anything Darth Maul or Prequel crapology but I'd say his best display is by far his Scout trooper (biker scout full display).

All cast from original and soft parts patterned from original.

WANT. :lol

By the way, if anyone's interested here's a video I put together when the display was first completed that shows the lighting and sound effects. I have an integrated Bluetooth speaker in the base and all of the sound clips are on my phone so I can basically make him say anything with the push of a button. It really makes him "come alive".

Where did he post pics of it? Yes...everything Gino has is a direct copy from the real deal...the one and only in the world who has this...nobody else ever will have :lol

Regarding his Yoda...the head is simply too small to be accurate, although nicely finished. Just compare it with Cybermans Vb version...its in another league
