Vader's not such a bad guy after all. Kudos to you sir. Nice way to apply the hobby to such noble purpose. Costume is looking good!

Thanks! Most of the kids we visited that day are Cancer patients awaiting scheduled surgery. we are planning to visit them again ( plus other hospitals requesting 501st appearances - (have been allowed to join hospital troops since its not a really formal Star Wars event), but further to this...have recently gotten the gloves i had custom made, ( some nitpicks, but otherwise awesome looking ); leather is top notch and the fit is perfect.

will have to distress/weather it a bit to get rid of the "Brand Spankin' New" look, I finally can stop using the Rubies gloves, hahaha , will have a better pair made ( to correct some inaccuracies) but till then this will do. MTFBWY.

Cool pictures. Yeah, I have nothing but respect for people costuming for charity and hospital visit events. It's a fantastic gift to be able to bring joy to others. And your suit looks really good. :)

Upgrades are never ending, though, right? There's always something to improve and as you learn new things you implement those into your piece. Good work. :thumbsup

rushing a paint job is never never never a good idea :grumpy .....botched up painting of the new chestbox as well as the new beltboxes trying to make it ready for Halloween :banger, drips, streaks, orange peel etc. ...reminder to self " do not start painting unless base prep is done correctly, do not paint when it is raining, do not paint succeeding coats till first one has had time to dry a bit" :nono ...frustration has set in so stepped away from it for the time being ( meantime, doing a quick and dirty Jack Sparrow for the office Christmas party pirate theme  )... but will get back on this hopefully in time for Rogue One.
