Thanks man. Gonna do the ears sometime next week, so I can get it fully assembled. Will probably give it a little paint during that week as well.

Seeing as I'm going ESB, I should probably try and find some ESB style decals. Are these the ones to get? http://trooperbay.com/te-derived-esb-st ... et-decals/

Wouldn't go for this decals on a RS helmet.
Man you have a screen cast close as possible at the moment, so you not should add some venyl stickers on that helmet.
Silkscreen is the only way for that helmet if you go ESB instead of AnH :lol

Ok little bit kidding, well the decals from Mike are great and i'm sure the ones in the TE size will fit to the RS very well, but as said you have a wonderfull screen cast and normal stickers wouldn't look
right on that helmet.... would be a downgrade you now?

Here's my RS ESB at the moment, just for to watch how it looks:

Carsten

My old original Mark II ESB helmet had paper decals. They were not glossy at all, and from what we now know it was made at the time of ESB. The decals you linked to would not be accurate imo, Paul (TM) correct me if I am wrong here...

Wow - this helmet is just too interesting. I took the plunge several days ago for the ABS kit version. I was told that there were some already finished but I enjoy the build too much not to get the kit.

Does anyone know roughly what kind of ETA/ shipping time is involved to California? I'm in no rush and I don't want to bug RS about it.

Just want to watch for it.

It is going to look GREAT next to the DJ Vader helmet over here (which is now back safely in a box until I rig up a better stand so that it does not fall off. DOH!)

For me it took about two weeks from the time I sent my payment to the package arriving.

Looks good carsten. Im curious to see how your ears turned out. I used the original marks foe the faceplate on my hdpe and it didnt work out. I had to change it. The gap in the brow area was ugly. So now i have extra drill holes as well.

Yeah, it will be interesting to see how it goes with the ears. Things have gone somewhat well up until now, so if I just relax and take my time getting it done right... I may be able to do it. LOL.

Though... got so many things I need to get done first, so it may be a while before I get time.
