Thanks man. Yes I tipped a select few of the cool white fibers with a transparent red paint made by Tamiya. Worked like a charm. Cool white is like normal incandescent lighting and not bluish like most white LEDs. That makes a huge difference with OT style models.

an amazing piece and the lighting makes it even better and better and better.

but a little question or did i miss something:
the part on the bridge center (the communication tower, i hope this is right) is standing but it should laying?
(hope its clear what i mean).

That's something for the old-school people. That's pure original Star Wars. Think it was retouched/removed in the SE versions.

When the tractor beam is engaged, it is extended. It retracts when not in use.

That shot of it lit is killer.
May I suggest a stand with a gloss black acrylic base and clear acrylic rods or struts for support. Would have that old school futuristic vibe.
