Well , imho to good to be from Sideshow.
Look what they have done to the 1:1 RotJ Vader bust, how many faults they made on the details.
This 1:1 looks ways better as 95 % of all fanmade Vader, if Gino should be involved here , i would bet this Vader is made from older parts he had left in his vault.
But i also would agree that Gino would never show his actual Vader on any offical Con.
Cause he would be to afraid people would see something which is not as accurate as he claimed on his "photoshoped" pic's on the RPF.

To come back to the Vader itself, i would be proud to have a RotJ Vader like this one at home. He looks realy good to me.

Gino has actually been trying to get his Vaders displayed at a con but the ligistics involved are too much.
I'm curious go know what you think is photoshopped. Besides the few obvious artistic ones I don't think he has ever altered anything...

Have you ever seen one of Ginos Vaders without a photoshoped backround or any photoshopped effects?
I mean , simply a real pic of his stuff.
Look at the pic's from his Yoda puppet, best example.

Jesse, TK 4702, sent me this link to Rebelscums photo page for this statue:

The dome flaring looks really wide.

Never liked ROTJ Vader. That said, this one looks off. Right off the bat, the dome and dull improperly padded under suit stick out like a sore thumb. I'd like to have the manikin they used though.

Um yeah... I've seen lots. I'd be happy to send you some.

Anyway I think the Vader looks pretty good. Of course it's idealized but once again an impressive effort by Sideshow, if they can do it justice.

Sorry but I think given what they have available to them this falls way short. The only thing on this statue thats worth a damn is the mannequin (though its too beefy or the vest is too tight) and maybe robes.

That's what I thought as well. Looks like a "presswurst" as we call it in germany (some kind of sausage).

It's a heck of a lot better looking than the Rubies statue that's for sure. If I wanted a full scale Vader and didn't want to go through sourcing all those hard parts and soft parts and the mannequin and putting it all together... this instant Vader is definitely worth getting.
