I have the chrome GG Vader and this Boba. It's my only Fett statue I own. Next to my Vader, Fett stands out better and all the little details actually make this statue better then the impressive and bigger Vader. I got this as a gift for Christmas and although not perfect or 100% accurate I believe this could be the best Fett around, Figure, bust or statue IMO. Very nice.

Will post pics tomorrow.

I think Kotobukiyas Boba ESB is great looking too. But the best Boba statue although not available these days is the coming Sideshow PF Boba ROTJ style. If this piece look half so good as on the pics, it should be the best Boba statue you can buy for money.
Looking forward to see pics. I own them too.

I would like to get the SS PF Boba, but it's out of my range. I've decided for this year I can't spend more than $150 on a single item, and that it's got to be extremely special to warrant that price. $325's just too much. Now, if I were to get lucky and find it on eBay for $150 I'd grab it.

You got a nice collection of Vader figures. Imo, I'm more for accurate and normal looking pieces rather than stylized and Super Deform figures - I have never understood the need to get so much detail right on a figure that is warped and deform... it just doesn't make sense to me and seems like a huge waste of time... but... it sells... so maybe my aesthetic sense of art and commercialism is a bit out of whack. :lol

When I first saw the Super Deformed figures I didn't like them either. In general I prefer realistic/accurate items as well. I picked up the Super Deformed Boba on a whim, because it was on sale and was impressed enough I bought the TIE Fighter Pilot off ebay. I love that one. I decided to get Vader because I do like the other two I have, and because I like the stylizing of Vader. There's so much Vader stuff available, and it all starts looking the same to me very quickly. There's not much that can be done to make him look different, and keep in the movie style.
For that reason, I really like the Animated maquette. For that reason I think the Super Deformed one is really cool. I love that they tried to be accurate with the paint job on the mask, and the reveal parts of it. I like that they tried to find a new take on something we've seen over and over again for the last thirty years.

I know what you mean. I've started to collect the Super Deformed with Boba ROTJ too. Now i have Boba, Darth, Tie Pilot and the stormi. And the royal guard and the yoda are on my list, too, like every OT charakter. I love there special look, although they are not movie accurate. But thats not important in every case i planned to buy a statue or another item for my collection.

The weather today is very poor, so I will take pics tomorrow for better clarity.. Going back to the sideshow Boba, I'm not keen on that pose, especially the way he is standing, overall may well be a nicer piece but as I'm not a hard core Fett fan I appreciate my GG version and will unlikely buy the sideshow.

I think its difficult for the companies to make statues in a pose everyone could live with. Many people i know are not confirm with the Boba GG pose, some are not with the Sidehow PF. For me, they are both looking good. The main reason i like the Sideshow so much is that it is a ROTJ Boba. Most of the available are ESB style, so its great to have a ROTJ too. Also the details of that statue are amazing. Probably the best Sideshow PF they offer.

Regards to the pose I agree, universally it is difficult to please everyone.

I thought the GG statue was ROTJ. I know it lacks some accuracy but I'm sure the box said ROTJ. I'll have to have a look when I get home.

The GG Boba is ROTJ, as is the SS PF Boba.
The Medicom RAH Boba is ESB.

Looking real nice. Cool to see how big Vader is compared to Boba Fett.

Btw: what is that figure in the middle on the top shelf in the second picture? That cannot be an Attakus Vader, can it!?

Image shack is playing up :rolleyes I've been trying to post a pic.

It's based on the first Attakus. It's the Pewter corkscrew and I think it's a great little display piece the photo does it no justice. For £10 it's a real bargain, the quality is also very good and for it's size this thing is heavy. They have these on ebay now. I got mine 18mths ago, Highly recommended IMO. The body likeness is very good, the head could be better but I'm happy overall.

Sorry guys, you are absolutly right. Should have i better look on that what i collect and spend a lot of money for :lol

Nice pewter vader. I've never seen that before and he really looks like the attakus vader one.

Is there anybody here in the forum who has some attakus stuff ?
I have nothing from attakus because in my opinion they are a little bit too expensive, but some of them look really great (except the human characters like Ben, Han and so on).
