I hate to say it, but I feel a little let down by that cover. They used that computer generated version VS a hand sculpted by Muir, Vader.

Yes I know this was debated on Whitearmor.

I contacted Jonathan Wilkins who stated :-

"The photography for A New Hope isn't quite as high quality as the 'Sith' photography. Therefore the Vader images from ANH looked very blurry when blown up for the cover. I really wanted Vader on the cover so had to opt for the 'Sith' version."

I read the article on the 12th at the newsstand.

The impression I get is that they want to push the ROTS design...there is good, clear and detailed reference of ANH...it would have been a courtesy to you if they took the time to match it to your work. They could have shown both helmets on the cover, for example, to show how the ROTS evolved from your original sculpture.

This is a promotional ANH helmet but nevertheless...it is from their own image bank.

I thin the reality is with some of these guys that they really dont care. ANH/RotS - its all the same to them

LFL does have a Don Post Deluxe at their disposal that they use for OT related promo pics.

It may even be the same one on the lower left of p. 34 of the article.
