You mean the ESB reveal? You see it from the front. It's the one in the pictures where the helmet is tucked in under the armor and the gap at the bottom of the mouth.

Yeah Anderson was used but Prowse states he was also. I have a pic somewhere of Anderson's rear head.

Yeah... the wild hair one, right?

Yeah. It's easy to distinguish the look of Anderson in the suit and Prowse - a whole other appearance when Prowse is in the suit.

Prowse mentions in his book from the forces Mouth about his appearance in the reveal scene. My copy is in my attic so can someone else who has the book find the extract please.

EDIT* Found the copy.

Oh..yeah. I realise we see the mask..I meant it would have been interesting to see it from the front before the mask/dome was lowered in place. :thumbsup

First mentions it on page 34 and then on page 43 - this is what was said.

Quote:
May 3rd

At long last we've got to the Vader chamber scenes. Had to have my hair cut very short in preperation for going into the bald cap. In the makeup chair for one and three-quarter hours. Eventually went to set just before lunch for a line-up and to let everybody see what it looked like but the cap started to ride up which meant I had to go back to Stuart Freeborn's department and spend the whole of the lunch hour in thew makeup chair having it re-fitted. Everybody was happy with the final result. Did some 2nd unit work with Gary Kurtz and I have more chamber work (with the Emperor) tomorrow
.

Still in Vader's chamber. Got to the scene where I'm confronted by the Emperor. It's been a hectic 2 weeks with most of the filming involving me but we are scheduled to finish all the chamber shots by next Tuesday.
