Yup... raw white ABS plastic. I got Testor's satin black or could even use black chrome trim as that has a nice rich and deep look to it. The brow trim is definitely on my replacement list - but the neck trim has already been replaced. Are the ESB decals different than the ANH decals that comes with the AP kit? Also need to get some proper mic-tips.

The eyes on my kit are fairly large trimmed... but could trim more... also heard that I should try to fix that deformity at the lower ridge of the right eye (left when looking at it from the front).

I wouldn't use the AP decals, they are far from being accurate.
Also the tube stripes should have a white 'background', if you see what I mean.

As for the eye ridge, yeah, that's one of the weak point of the AP IMHO, (that and the total lack of bumps on the cap and back and around the traps, I would recommand simulating those with putty and paint .

Well, I don't plan on going completely overboard with the AP kit... I will just make it presentable. I will definitely try to get a hold of a TE2 kit(s), but I've heard that they are a bit expensive and... heard something about the pulls suffering from mold damage...

Check out this RPF thread: http://www.therpf.com/index.php?showtopic=123559

GZ may be doing some ESB decals as well.
