Stunning job, looking and the lack of indentation on the widows peak it's a ROTJ helmet though.

Actually, the remnants of the widow's peak crease occurs in varying sharpness on the ESB helmets due to primer & paint filling it in. Which of course means that they appear even less sharp on ROTJ helmets due to having even more paint applied but it is still faintly there. ROTJ domes are actually ESB domes after all.

The center strips on the ESB & RotJ helmets look very different. If the RotJ helmets were just carried over ESB helmets, then they have definitely gone through serious reconditioning and sanding and reshaping. You argued earlier that there was no nick at the cheek area at the nose on the RotJ while others said that there was... and looooong threads was spent discussing and arguing that.

There are very noticeable differences between the ESB and the RotJ helmets - expecially such as details on the face being less and the dome center ridge being different.

I don't understand why you're suddenly making this claim. There is so far no photographic evidence to back it up - quite the contrary.

I agree to the obvious above.

Great work Doug, a very nice ESB Vader and I like the pose, very Vaderish  .

Don't want to get too off-topic.
All I'm saying is that the crease is there underneath the paint, although it looks more like a dip than a crease in ROTJ due to the multiple paint layers.
Very hard to capture in a photo.

Yes, that is the only scene in the entire movie that shows that face and dome config... and has been discussed before to be something other than the regular RotJ helmets. None of the other helmets show any of the details seen in that helmet in that very brief scene. It is not the only time during the movie you see the helmet that up close...

Notice also how the paintjob is different on that one helmet - definitely not the RotJ paintjob. This helmet and paintjob is not seen anywhere else in the movie... not even in the very next scene where the dome is lifted off or before.

Do you base your whole argument on that one scene?
