still ugly

I'm not threatening to recast. Sorry if it sounds like that. I'm going to be working on a new version of an ANH helmet. The dome will not be from a "ugly" one. I'm using a helmet that i already have as a base to complete the dome. The front is going to a have more than considerable amount of rework it will not replicate any ones work. Nothing is going to be recast from anyone. I will document the process to show it is not a recast. Thanks

Then what is all this talk about you having two Darth Uglies being shipped to you?

Some beautiful shots by scottjua of his Ugly ESB. It's nice seeing people so happy with these. These helmets feel like my kids, so I enjoy seeing them in new homes. Makes it like I oversee an adoption center! :thumbsup

Haha I'm so glad you finally finished it Mac! and even better you did some casts!

Looks great, defiantly a turn around from what it used to look like, I hope you pleased with the results. I'm sure a lot of people will appreciate all the work you put into your restoration projects and all the documentation on them. There's not many fan made helmets with a complete thread showing the build!
