Here's my Dan Laws Tie Pilot on a DS mannequin.
I still need to sew the commpad and various pockets on,
get better hoses. Click images for larger ones.

Proportionately, that's one of the best costume setups I've seen.

Can you post 45-degree and 90 degree sideshots?

Agreed. I don't get that "feeling" looking at an AA/SDS.

Thanks for the comments! I'll try to get some shots with my Nikon. Wife has the good camera today taking pictures of easter eggs. :)

The mannequin is a poseable one that Dark Shadow sells on the RPF.

The overall look is just perfect, spot on! :thumbsup

The only thing missing is a compad.

Got behind. The pics are still on my card. The gloves are motorcycle gloves. They are innacurate in that they a) had straps that I cut off and b) don't have the three ribs on the back of the hand. :) They are similiar to these http://www.classicgoggles.com/goggles/m ... de=beckerg

My upcoming problem with the commpad is finding decent fabric to match the fabric of the real flight suit. I'm contemplating cutting a square out of the back and the bottoms of the pants off and replacing those areas with other fabric. :)

I always thought that the TIE helmets were the ultimate use of the Stormtrooper face... man... they just look so menacing... and you believe that they are real flight helmets. :eek
