The box arrived this morning...my Vader Grail. I'm an ESB Vader junky.

Gotta say, VaderMonkey did a stellar job on this helmet - to me, this helmet has that "Vader Look" to a tee.

It wasn't without it's problems, as VM had to redo the dome a few times - paint kept bubbling up.

But dayam. Now that it's all finished...it's...... :drool

Seriously can't believe this beautiful Vader helmet is sitting on a shelf above my computer.

Very nice! Congratulations. I'll trade you my 10 Vader helmets for that one.

Thanks, Vader fans. :)

Alan, so far I've only taken a few quick pops of the helmet. At first I just set it on the table next to my office window, as a light source, and the colored reflection is from my computer display. But it does help when my quick "pops with a camera" come from a Sony a7rII and a Zeiss 100mm Makro Planar lens. :toothy

I took these last night while the helmet was sitting on the shelf (I can never get enough Vader helmet photos). I wish more people would post photos of their helmets. :D

Will probably set up an official shoot for this helmet sometime this week...

Some coulored shots taken from 6 feets back and zoomed in would be cool.

I've said this numerous times - the ESB Vader helmet has always been my favorite on screen for a variety of aesthetic reasons. But I just saw the first in-progress photos of the TM ANH helmet.

...I might be changing my mind once I see this on my shelf. :eek
