The time has come to start my reveal mask build.
I have all parts except of 6 parts for the upper mask.

But i want to start with the lower mask first.



As i think it will take this year to complete all, so be patient with me.

Here are the parts for the neckseal.










Have started today to make the template and add the AM plugs on it.







The parts for the middle section of the mouthpiece are in work.
Will post them if i have them ready.

Same here. What are you going to use for the face?

I now have all parts for the face and the facemask itself .
Only the wireing is missing.The cable houseing i have to build by my own.The real ones were from hosmer, and they are impossible to get.
There are over 70 reveal parts which come inside the face and the facemask itself is also based on an MR helmet.
But more of this later if i have finished the collar.

Some progress from today.
I was realy suprised to see that the cast is made out of resin with a fiberglas toplayer.
Make the work much easier.
I cut off the stripes left and right of the collar cause they were not correct.
The 10mm white front piece you see on the pic's i also add for the silver tabs which get later glued on.




Start to filled up the sides than with styrene, after i start to grind it in the right shape.






Also i made a coarse template for the triangle piece of the middel mouth section.

Nice progress shots! But how come you wrote "MAC" on the triangle? Not that Mac minds.

I realy had to look twice till i understand what you have meant with "Mac".lol.
It's only a 1:1 sketch of the parts on the triangle.

The first layer is finished now.

Made the second layer today and grind the final shape of the sides.
Cause the Chinpart is made out of resin, i clould bend it in the correct shape( Hot water is my friend)

I've been playing with the idea of adding ROTS internals to my ROTJ reveal mask. Maybe once you reach the mask, you'll be my inspiration to start.

Are you have all parts you need for the Mask interior?

No, not at all. I still have to figure out what to do for most of the parts. I have a few loose hard drive readers and other bits and pieces. They're not accurate, yet accuracy wouldn't be much of a concern for me since ROTS internals in an ROTJ mask isn't accurate to begin with.:p

Also i have seen on a refpic that they used a washer under the screw below on the trinagle.
With this i also can rotate the angle of the mouthpiece a bit that i would have the same as the real prop
